This where I usually stay in whenever I am in Elko, Nevada. The rooms are nice, the place is western with paintings of various gunfighters and cowboys around the casino. While it is an old building it has all the modern things you would expect; pool, microwave, refrigerator, etc. It is in downtown Elko, so there are plenty of options for restaurants, bars, grocery, banking, shopping, all within walking distance, including the "Star" an excellent Basque restaurant.

The food is usually very fast and pretty reasonably priced, that being said they probably have the worst service in town. Every time I’ve come here the waitresses are terrible and seem put off that you are bothering them by being there. You only get okay food, don’t expect good service from here because you’ll be disappointed.
