Fun! ate lunch and played lots of slot machines! Not much else to do,.but lots of machines and lots of drinks to be had. The people are very nice.

The Gilpin Hotel is one of my favorites. Being a slot club member I receive free money, food comps and entries to weekly drawings.
However, the staff could be.a little friendlier.

It's a casino in the mountains.
The advertised $2 craps was $5, but that could have been because it was Friday night. Parking was free, easy to find, and considering the number of people leaving the valet was very quick.
The casino itself was easy to navigate, smelled ok. The bathrooms smelled funny and needed some maintenance (the urinal barrier was about to fall off the wall).
I lost the money I brought, but that isn't unexpected. I had a good time, the dealers were nice, and the waitress serving the tables was nice too.

The Gilpin is a really awesome and fun , packed casino..and my next to kin.mother pat who works there is really great with people as well as her supervisors too..love you pat..😀🏩

Love coming here. Lucille Malones restaurant is delicious definitely recommend the chicken fried steak
