The location is very good but I wouldn't say this hotel compares favourably to other Ritz Carlton hotels. There is no heating in the rooms and the general facilities are standard but way below what the day rate suggests. We were also quite unhappy with the staff. The hotel offers guides and transportation to Giza and we went with the -way beyond standard- rate ($160) for a half day tour, thinking the hotel has some quality check for the services it provides. Not at all. We were waiting for 45' in the lobby. The staff didn't seem alerted, they did say sorry but they didn't bother with anything else (as if this is something that happens often there - I mean, come on, they could offer some tea or water just to show that they were sorry). The same night, at the restaurant, in the middle of our dinner, the waiter insisted to take away the mushroom heater from our table because some other table in the back could not see the TV screen (the heater was there before our arrival and was shared between 2 tables that really needed the heater to stay). Cairo is amazing but this hotel was too expensive to be so unpleasant.

Spectacular place, i enjoyed the Christmas vibes and decorations. It's view on the river Nile heart worming and astonishing. Surely you would love to try a breakfast on such view. Also wouldn't miss a dinner at night on a reflection of the city lights reflected on the surface of the Nile, enjoying the magical CAIRO when at it's most beauty at night with it's sparkle lights.

Fantastic food and staff! I informed them of an allergy and they brought out the chef to confirm that all of my food would be prepared gluten free. Everyone was welcoming and fantastic Mohammed made the place really come to life and added a brief history of the area which he knew well from his 32 years of service! Well worth a visit!

Good hotel, ideal for business and probably holiday. Friendly helpful staff and nice food....try the BBQ and the cakes. Rooms were clean and well provisioned. Amazing views of the Nile and near national museum. Hotel security appear to be strong and safe.

This hotel is really amazing. It has a nice view of the Nile from the hotel. The service is really good. The rooms are very comfortable - this is in terms of both size and the amenities provided. Very big bathroom as well. The facilities at the hotel are also quite good - from restaurants to conferencing facilities. Overall one of the better hotels that I have found. The cost is quite expensive but in line with the nicer hotels in Egypt when compared

Amazing hotel, fantastic staff, and great service. As both an American tourist visiting from NYC and also as someone who’s been to Cairo several times, I can confidently say this is the place to stay for a good experience in Cairo!

Great location. Very good bathroom and fixtures. Unhelpful staff, who give contradictory advice when asked. Most of the on-site restaurants were closed for the month of Ramadan, thus forcing many visitors to have in-room dining In room dining was terrible. Sleep experience was not so great thanks to the mediocre sound proofing, that allows street noise to keep one up at night Housekeeping was Ok, but many hygienic procedures are bypassed

Nice place in front of Al-tahrer, there are daily festival and exhibition, there's patchi inside the hotel, also there is also bank and ATM, If you want to eat outside there are many restaurants around the hotel, and you can go to the museum in less than 5 minutes

This hotel, Nile Ritz-Carlton, previously was Nile Hilton, is located in literally Cairo downtown, few steps from the famous Tahrir square and the Egyptian museum. The hotel front entrance faces the river Nile, with a gorgeous view, specially before dusk. The hotel location is also close to famous bazaars shopping areas and from it you can reach most of old Egypt site visits.
