The Casino is always a great place to go! The Chinese restaurant is traditional and still creates traditional meals that my family love. The little cafe inside the Casino playing area has an excellent range of food to eat which caters to small and large dish sizes. I have also attended a few event upstairs with different organisations and it has always been a pleasure to attend.

One of the best places I've stayed in Australia. Amazing location on the Cairns boardwalk. Room was perfect. Customer service and concierge was so helpful and caring, truely invested in our happiness and comfort

We had a great time at the Zoom zip line experience at the top of the hotel.
The failure was to get there the elevators are located at the entrance to the casino where the hallway has a long water/bubble display in the wall. My youngest son saw this and wanted to look at it. The security guard yelled at him as he crossed into this hallway to a point that if frightened him. I picked him up and suggested to the security guard that my 7 year old was just amazed with the display and he just looking at it. He suggested to look from beyond the entrance to the hallway and we cannot be there. His manager or some other guard (a bald headed man) then moved up and told me to move back and if I did not I was going to "cost this bloke his job, mate".
I then told them to please take a breath and relax. they told me that they could call the police for this and back up.
I would suggest you never enter this hotel despite the enjoyment of Zoom. they are unfortunately, the collateral damage from an extremely rude casino group.
What the casino group fails to understand is that we were there just 5 days earlier to go to Zoom and stopped to see the wall of bubbles in the same way we just got accosted for without even an eyelash raised by the guard at the time.
A service industry dependent on customer traffic should be well aware that one incident like this is one too many.

One place for everything. The hotel is comfortable with courteous staff. The casino doesn't need words, just dive in and have fun. There is a zoo in there as well if you have time to spare :)

Great location in Cairns. Close to the main excursion ships port, at the most interesting commercial avenue. The rooms are very good (wide, clean, nicely decorated and comfortable) and the staff is very nice and ready to help you. Perfect quality/price ratio.

Beautiful and modern well located hotel with spacious and quiet rooms, very friendly staff always available. Very copious and varied breakfast.
The hotel's gourmet restaurant is a real delight.

Great location. Staff super friendly. Tamarind restaurant absolutely beautiful. Rooms are lovely and big. Lots of room. Pool across the road at the other Pullman is better. Pullman reef is quite and relaxed.

Excelled in every aspect of experience such as check-in, room & amenities, gym facility and room service. I appreciate Attention to detail. Being a flight attendant, i stay at the different hotels all the time. I’m impressed by your efficiency, effectiveness, attention to detail and prompt delivery of request & room service. Can't say enough about how helpful and accomodating the staff at this hotel were for our weeks stay. The concern expressed and assistance given when we needed medical care, was over and above the staffs duty. The food was excellent in all areas including room service. We especially appreciated the breakfast service and staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all needs met. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, and in future will always stay here.
