Garden Buffet

This rating has considered discounted price and free parking offer. $25 lunches are great value. Good variety of food including some seafood items, although taste is average. I like the desserts section more. I also liked the environment too. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Garden Buffet

Took the family from blue mountain to Harvest today Monday 34$ and it was worth the money and travel. This buffet is not your local RSL filled with fried food. If this is what you use to I would suggest don't go as myself was surprised with the fresh selection. Great location, service was amazing as our waiter was very attentive. Food was definitely delicious and wonderful with such variety. The beef cheek was to die for. Dessert section was so good for the kids. Can just come back only for this. I suggest to get in as early as us today as this place get busy!! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to enjoy some great food with family.

Garden Buffet

Nice food, good variety, fresh, well presented, value for money. Beautiful facilities, ample staffing, friendly staff. Terrible wait ,(>1hr). What brings everything down is the disgusting display of humanity by many customers. People at the buffet reminds me of pigs being fed at a farm. This is a real shame because The Star have done everything to the letter for a fine dining experience. Ruined by animals.

Garden Buffet

I went on Friday 06/04/18 for the seafood buffet with my friends. This place had really gone downhill since the last time I went. Not even worth the money anymore. At 69.90 for only around 6 seafood options. There was oysters, prawns, crabs, mussels sushi and grilled barrumundi. There was no other options for seafood. For that money I expected more cooked hot seafood dishes. There was not even any salmon. I am really disappointed with what has happened to this place. Also the quality of the food had gone down a bit as well. Minus one or two dishes (southern fried chicken and braised lamb which were good) rest of the cooked food was not up to the usual standard I have come to expect from this buffet over the years. I really hope it improves.

Garden Buffet

High standard of food safety required of a buffet with chefs and staff (indirectly) patrolling.. cleaning, adding cutlery, replenishing food etc. Harvest Buffet gets 5 stars for that! Super efficient staff clearing and setting tables even though dining area was almost at full capacity. Wide variety of food most of which is cooked front of house. Only hot coffee and tea included in the price, but there is a full service bar. Remember to ask cash operator to give you a parking ticket to validate. Free parking too! You don’t get that anywhere near or around the city.

Garden Buffet

Great food and atmosphere, but not much salad variety. We went as a group of 40 and it would have been nice if we were given extra water bottles constantly and have the used plates removed.. Otherwise it was great, dessert was beautiful and catered for all

Garden Buffet

Took the family to Harvest Buffet last night for the first time. Overall we were impressed and satisfied. The seafood was good quality but not much variety which is why I gave them 4 not 5 stars. The other hot dishes were great and the desert options were fantastic. Staff/service and cleanliness was great, overall good value and look forward to going back one day.

Garden Buffet

Quite a nice buffet with good selection (and very wide variety) of food. The decor is very modern and feels quite luxurious, everything seems clean, and the waiters come and clear dishes and clean up frequently, and are very polite. There were always dishes and cutlery available when required. I found the seafood options a bit underwhelming (prawns, mussels, clams, and sushi, with chili crab in another section), but we were there on a Monday night, so it wasn't seafood night. The refresh/refill of the food was very good, there wasn't any long period that the serving stations were empty of any dish, so I guess it is better to go on a busier night, as from my observation they didn't run out of food, so everything was 'fresher'. The pizzas were a bit dry and overcooked, probably because they were sitting under the heat lamp, and the roast was a bit tough. I think things like stews, curries, and dishes in sauce are better suited to the buffet experience. The roast chicken was quite good though if you get a fresh batch. The chili crab was precooked crab that was then fried in the chili sauce, so it ended up feeling a bit overcooked, while not really absorbing the sauce properly. Big selection of desserts too, which is great (or terrible) for kids. Multiple chocolate fountains, and a soft serve machine, plus popcorn to keep them happy (but exceedingly sugared up). The price is slightly on the high side for what you get, but it is located in a premium location. You also get parking validated if you eat here, which is a nice bonus if you are already at the star.
