Tonopah Station

Tonopqh station has nice rooms, a casino, and a restaurant. The rooms are clean and recently remodeled. The shower heads are a little to low for a 6ft tall man. The casino is smoky. The restaurant was good but they don't season their food due to to many people having allergies, although if you ask for it to be seasoned they will gladly accommodate.

Stage Stop Restaurant

Stopped here for breakfast on our way through. The group of us got various skillets, French toast, pancakes, and the farmers breakfast. It was all very good! The biscuits and gravy were great and the portions were filling.

Tonopah Station

I go here for a relaxing evening, breakfast or lunch. As of late, their food has become even better. Our favorite is the crepes. We get them for special occasions now. They are so good. The staff are always so friendly and willing to help and when time permits chat for a second. I've seen them so nice to people. This is a place everyone can get good food and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere.

All was good. Beds a bit springy. The smoke smell for a non-smoking room was tolerable. Friendly and helpful staff.

Older hotel. Room was comfortable. Air conditioner was really noisy. No bell service. Carry your own bags. Bath towels old and warn out. Lots of stairs. Staff seemed tired.

Tonopah Station

The rooms are really good, clean and comfortable but getting to them requires passing through extremely smoky areas which almost made members of our group gag and eliminated the possibility of eating here comfortably or looking at the minimal number of paintings and antiques on display. Parking is plentiful and some rooms have a nice view but the attitude of the staff is variable which, along with the smoke makes this not advisable for many. It was a bit tiresome to have to navigate the old fashioned wifi that required connecting and agreeing to terms of service every time. The rooms have been recently renovated but the heat pump unit's filters in two separate rooms were completely clogged up so I cleaned them and that helped the air circulation at least.

The hotel/casino is on US 95 in Nevada between Reno and Las Vegas. It's located in the very small town of Tonopah. Recommend you make reservations. Get there before 9:30 pm if you want to eat in their cafe. Earlier if you want to eat elsewhere in town. Almost everything closes at nine or earlier.

We stopped here for lunch looking for the best ADA wheelchair accessible restroom we could find. Although the upstairs restroom says accessible, it is NOT (see pics). Door opens the wrong way and mirror is too low. However, downstairs there is a very nice ADA wheelchair accessible restroom. Thanks to the employee that gave us this suggestion! We also had a nice lunch here.
