The civic center is always the place to go in Florence. From concerts to graduation ceremonies, from ice skating to ice hockey, this place keeps people coming back. Near tons of hotels and shopping, you won’t be bored.

Not much to review here, as it is just our local civic center. I have been to everything from hockey games to graduations here. Good facility. Clean. Big enough for Florence's needs. The one problem is getting out and onto the one lane roads around it.

My brother and myself went down to Florence South Carolina from Sanford North Carolina for my brother's daughters college graduation which was held at the Florence Center we didn't have GPS and we got lost a lot but we feel like we were around it riding around and blocks or circles we had a wonderful time and we finally found it in Florence is a beautiful spread out City it was beautiful Center and we had a wonderful time I look forward to going back to Florence to spend some time with my niece thank you for having us

While watching high school basketball and well before the time before the school I came to support, someone hit me in the back of the head with a bag of boiled peanuts. Not a big deal except for the fact that there was no one to witness it, no usher in sight, and whoever threw it, nothing happened to them. What if it had been a bottled soda or something else that could have injured me? I won't be going back to any other events there, that is for sure.
Parking is fine, but after the event plan on spending a lot of time waiting to get out and being able to get back to the main roads.
All in all, it was not a good experience for me.

A great venue. Wide open spaces. Plenty of rest rooms. Good lighting. Many concession stands.

I recently attended the outdoor Spring Carnival. I'm happy it was outdoors, It was FREE entry but I expected more rides. They offered more of those "Cash for Play Games" verse rides. They needed more food vendors as well. There wasn't much food options to choose from.

I've always loved this place... Kinda sad we don't have hockey anymore. We attend the gun and knife show yesterday and it was great! Got some cool t-shirts there

Great location and ample space. All the hotels you can name surround the place along with fast food and sit down restaurants. Would have given it five stars but they are doing construction around the center and didn't have proper signage or directions.

Was here for the gun show one day & church services the other and its beautiful, clean,and the people are very respectful.
