I have been living here for a while and just now got to go to the races. I love the horses and the first time I heard them pass I saw their full beauty.
Being part of the backside and owning race horses Of course involves .Interacting with the the hub of those who make the track run efficiently. Great cheap entertainment! Free parking, free entry, and with a cheap bet ($1-$2) you can leave with more than you came with but if you don't win you still end up only spending less than $20. Free music, $1 hot dogs, and $1 beer on Friday nights! Good races as well.
Turrfway is in need of repairs, but it's a fun place to go and enjoy an evening with friends. A place where you can enjoy the betting and being able to move around and socialize. Plan on going back soon.
Old Rust bucket is a Barrel of fun if you have money to blow. Indoor smoking and plenty of people to place bets, bring a seat because seats are scarce and pregame before you go. In the end I went home richer. Good luck on your bets or break a leg.
