Wild Rice Lounge

We came to eat here as it was recommended as one of the best restaurants in town. Although the service was excellent and the setting is very nice, the quality of the food was disappointing. It was very simple and bland, with nothing that was worth the money we payed for as this is relatively expensive food. We have eaten lots of street food that had more flavours than this restaurant.

Wild Rice Lounge

Terrible! Expensive average food and bad service. No Baby chair available, we asked if the chicken with cashew comes with rice and the waitress said yes but it didnt. She probably did not understand. Dont order the sticky rice! We ordered it many times in vietnam but this is a soup with uncooked rice... But they didnt even take a note that we didnt like it. Also they didnt take the used plates from us... Dont go there!

Wild Rice Lounge

Upscale, despite swarming fruit flies. Attentive (almost overly so) service. Considered pricey but really a bargain by Western standards. A welcome respite from its hectic neighborhood.

I'm a frequent player at Diamond Jo's who experienced unacceptable customer service by one of the pit officials named "Slim" today. As one who believes in principle and ethics, I noticed a player wrongfully taking chips after the dealer mistakenly paid the chips. I helped the dealer correct the mistake which then pissed off the player because he clearly had no intention of telling the dealer about the mistake. I was just being honest & ethical like all players should be. I was then asked to leave the casino stating that I was causing a problem. "Slim"e never asked me what happen which clearly lacked any intention of understanding the situation before making an informed judgement. This experience severely damages Diamond Jo's reputation as a casino that treats their players right. If your a casino that enjoys dishonest players, then I would recommend continuing your degenerative customer service! I will certainly inform others about this experience as I believe Diamond Jo's has questionable employees working there. If you would like to speak to me in person, I wear a black Polo and a black hat with long blonde hair, typically playing at the craps tables on the weekends. - Josh

Was stopped at the Rest Area for my 10hr break, went into the Family Buffet, 3 different areas/types of food. American Comfort (had baked chicken) Chinese, and International had 5-7 choices per, nothing fancy or wild, evidently Scalloped Potato’s is International as is Meatloaf....??, server was Cassidy had her working at least a dozen tables and running her backside off while there was a cashier and a young lady to seat you. Good service, middle of the road food, poor planning.

Room is clean and comfortable. Bathroom roomy. Room has refrigerator and microwave. Hotel has hot breakfast buffet, gift shop, workout area, indoor pool, miniature golf, gift shop, casino, and a small bar and grill. The only thing that frustrated me was that since our room is on the second floor we parked out back. The room key would not unlock the back entry door near the breakfast room. I would stay here again if ever back in the area.
