Country music is awful and that's all they play. Drinks are cheap. Only one stall in men's bathroom can be a huge problem. Would not recommend.

Always a good time! Bartenders are great, servers are friendly, bands are genuinely good, blackjack and pull tabs. The real only downfalls are the restrooms and parking, as well as the law tends to sit outside at closing time.....

Good laid back place on a Wednesday night. Good drinks decent bartender and cheap prices. Nice spot to unwind after a long day. And no crazy packed.

The only one issue I have is that the taxis, which are numerous in numbers, park right at the front door of the bar and the line extends all the way to the gas pumps at flying J. It is a driving nightmare. They (taxis) are rude and wont move for anything but cash.
The windbreak itself is a fun place.

The dance floor is always so sticky...I don't think they ever clean it. Also, there's always a mix up with the payment... They won't take a credit card for less than $10 or even open a tab for you until 11pm. We didn't get more drinks after the first round. All in all, we'd choose somewhere else to go on a Saturday night. :/

I gotta say I was very impressed by the staff at the Windbreak. I stopped out early on a Thursday night to advance my band with the the sound man for the following Saturday night. I was having a beer and I witnessed the staff starting to come in for the onslaught of customers for ladies night. I could tell they were very well trained, all of them had a mission and got right to business. Hell I even saw a couple of them stretching out before. After the band started the place was packed! I finally realized what they were preparing for, wow!!!

Bar staff was great, but the bouncers are too aggressive and rude. Had a huge altercation over a free drink I was holding on ladies night while my gf was in the bathroom. Bouncer tried to yank it out of my hand and was extremely rude. when I refused to give it up threatened to kick me out even though I explained it was for my gf in the bathroom. Then said leave or pay 5$. Haha NO. I had already paid extra for actually decent vodka instead of well in the "free" drink. So I held my ground and he went grab his other bouncers he threatened me again. I still wasn't having it and refused because it was a ridiculous altercation. The owner came and it was all resolved with ease since he actually had some sense and wasn't a 5 foot something angry dwarf. After talking to the owner all was well, but the tension was still there since the bouncer fella felt played.
Other than that it was a fun spot!
