Delicious food but the service was absolutely terrible. Our waiter never came. The water guy took our order. We needed to get the manager to ask for a doggy bag and check and it still took forever. We never met our waiter.

Red 8 has a nice atmosphere and the restaurant itself it's beautifully decorated. The service was also good. However, I was upset with the food during my experience.
I ordered the crab Rangoon which had a strong fishy smell and taste to it. The texture of the filling did not seem authentic. I also got the shrimp and wonton noodle soup, and that also had an overwhelmingly fishy smell and taste. I only took one bite and asked for the check because I was scared to get food poisoning!

Fantastic every time we’ve been here, with groups or as a couple. Authentic Asian Food, hands down. Excellent service with genuine care. Delicious green tea and sublime shrimp dumplings and perfection of noodle soups. We sat there after dinner talking and they never rushed us. Reasonable prices for being in the heart of Wynn. Love love this place!!!

It was Jamazing. The service was quick and the food was top quality. Perfectly seasoned dishes were being served. Although the price was a little high, the food quality was definitely worth it. Give it a try and order a try.

As a Chinese student, I came to Vegas and went to Wynn for its famous brand of delicious food and great environment. However, it was such a major disappointing experience at red 8. The food was very terrible! It’s either too salty or no flavor at all! Too much ginger for dumplings for gods sake! At this point you begin to wonder whether the chief will actually taste the food himself. We came to red 8 right after we left the airport, but the experience was really bad. Terrible atmosphere which people yelling at your background for the whole time! Waiting for food can be really struggling because it takes hours to do so! Never again.

Really don't know why this place gets a bad rep - I've been here twice, and it was great both times. Conveniently located and service is quick and good. And the food and teas are excellent too! We had a lunch for 5 here last Tuesday, and everyone loved it. In fact, it wasn't that much worse than wing Lei if I'm being honest.
