Let me start with the positives-- the staff was friendly and attentive, and our waitress was kind and helpful. She gave good suggestions for our drink orders and checked in on us occassionally to make sure everything was alright. The atmosphere was also decent and semi-upscale, considering the location. That aside, I was just not blown away by the food. The bone-in ribeye steak I received was decent but nothing to write home about. If I were judging solely based on the taste of the steak and the overall ambience, I would probably rate my experience at 4 stars. Sadly, the sides ordered by my party were all disappointing to say the least. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were bland and basic, and the baked potato ordered at our table was undercooked. If sides are important to your dining experience, you might want to go somewhere else. I realize most people only visit a steakhouse for the steak, in which case I would argue that there are still better alternatives elsewhere, particularly for the price.

The Pines is awesome it's a great atmosphere it's very clean very great service the food was excellent I have not been so pleased with a meal in long time I tried the crab cakes and I have the filet mignon and it was out of this world I would recommend this place highly to anyone it's located inside San Manuel Casino I would recommend reservations as they don't always have tables available

Great place to eat. Nice break from the noisy casino. Delicious food. Have had seared duck and really enjoyed it. Also love love love their butter they give with the bread....the breadsticks they gave us were all so amazing. Husband loved their burger. Lobster bisque had actual pieces of lobster in it....mmmmm.... everyone that works there was nice from the young ladies at the welcome desk to the waiter and the busboy and even that general manager who came over to check on how our meal was and had a nice conversation with....

Fantastic steaks, Mac & cheese is killer, mashed potatoes melt in your mouth, even the ice tea was great! You have to experience it

If you like fine dining then this is the place for you. My wife and I were here on Saturday. We had a wonderful time food was delicious as always. Our server Steven was very attentive, friendly and provided exceptional service.
