Review for Hipdromo Chile Review For Hipdromo Chile Google User Jan 19 '14 at 3:12 I don't particularly care for mass chain restaurants but I have tried Sushi Samba in both Chicago and in Miami. I felt as though you get a standard chain experience. There's nothing really outstanding about this place and I don't find that adding the "Peruvian fusion" benefited them greatly. The decor is Miami-style modern, but nothing very special. It is very lively and especially busy during summer nights, which I loved. But beware that waiting time, even with a reservation will be quite long. The sushi was good, don't get me wrong. However, I can't honestly say that there was anything exceptional about it. We ordered copious amounts of sushi, sashimi and nearly every dessert on the menu just to try for variety. Everything was very fresh and plated nicely, but it just lacked creativity and originality. Their Samba Dromo (lobster, chives, curry, mango and tomato) and Ebisu San (shrimp, crab, coconut and chili) were among the ones we really enjoyed. The dessert variety was wonderful. Definitely try the tropical tapioca and their mochi. Samba might be better suited for the individual that hasn't ever tried sushi or maybe tempted to after all, order a hot entree (which they have many). But for the sushi connoisseur, this is one you can bypass. View full site to comment or like
