I like Mariner of the Seas...larger than normal balcony cabins that I loved. Food was very good in every venue...I wish they offered 24 hour pizza like Carnival does. The ship is nice with plenty to do for all ages.
The first day as I was asking different crew members questions, I was surprised when one crew member didn't know what aft and forward meant, another didn't know the entry location as we were trying to board and yet another had no idea where the closest restroom was located...that's kind of scary.
The slots were soooo tight, I eventually just stopped playing and love to play...very disappointing.. Two days in a row, possibly more, the bathroom located closest to the Windjammer was closed for "cleaning"...now I'm no Rocket Scientist, but it seems to me lunch time in the buffet (Windjammer) is probably not a good time to close the women's bathroom for cleaning. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my cruise, it was all the "silly little things" that became quite annoying as the days went by. We just returned from one on Celebrity and EVERY staff member was amazing, not so much on this one. RCL needs to "up their game" a bit.
