Review for Dauphin Fairgrounds Review For Dauphin Fairgrounds Google User Jun 3 '17 at 22:12 We go to most of the car shows held at Carlisle, this one just happened to be the ALL FORD NATIONALS. The fairgrounds is very large, very full of hills, with the Grandstand in the center. Parking is always difficult. They don't have their own parking, so most of the neighboring homes or the Carlisle Firehouse charge $5-10 to park if you can't find street space. What is bothersome is that handicapped parking doesn't exist here. If you have bad joints or other health issues, the fairgrounds rents scooters for a moderate price or bring your own, they just need to approve it. There are also plenty of places for camper and trailer parking, in yards or on the west side of the grounds. Plenty of concession stands, clean bathrooms, vendors of all sorts, demo rides/cars, a car parade; literally something for everyone. Also, they usually have a beer garden sponsored by one of the local pubs. View full site to comment or like
