Review for The Greenbrier Review For Harrah's Gulf Coast Google User Jan 27 '18 at 21:41 My husband and I stayed here this past week for three nights. Let me start off with what Harrah’s is doing right. The team at the Starbucks kiosk are excellent. One of your employees ( I wish I would have gotten her name) went above and beyond for me. I love Teavana’s Joy tea and have been unable to find it anywhere. This Starbucks had it. I really was overjoyed at this!!! When I asked the young lady at the counter if I could buy some she quickly called her manager and got the go ahead. The tea wasn’t in a box so she needed permission. I greatly appreciate her taking control of my situation and serving me very well. The second thing Harrah’s does well is the food in the small restaurant across from the Starbucks serves a wonderful breakfast. This is as good as it gets. Our first room had no hot water and my husband took an ice cold shower. I will say that the front desk did move us into another room. We were traveling with my sister and her first room had mold built up in the air conditioner unit so they moved her. The carpet in our rooms were filthy. The purple throw that goes at the end of the bed had questionable spots on it. It appeared it hadn’t been washed. I found a hair in the sheets. I am hoping that the hair just clung to the sheets while it was washed There is not much appeal to this hotel at all. While we may return to Biloxi we won’t be returning to this hotel. We also had the opportunity to go into the casino. It seems very small in comparison to the other hotels casinos in the vicinity. I noticed that the casino was not paying out while we were there. It’s not that I wasn’t winning money; nobody was winning. All in all I was very disappointed and expected much more than they delivered. I am not the type of person who complains nor am I a person who likes to leave unfavorable reviews. View full site to comment or like
