Review for Silversea Cruises - Silver Shadow Review For Le Champagne Google User May 19 '18 at 20:22 Obscure entrance. Huge and varied wine selection - definitely out of the ordinary. I’m from out of town and only visiting for another day and wanted to purchase wines to take with me. I spent two hours checking inventory on an iPad sipping wine and adding to my online cart. Probably 60% of the wines were not in store but could be available in 5-7 days. Halfway through, one of the guys went “hunting” for a couple bottles I wanted in a storage area next door. He came back with one and offered a substitute for another. I was familiar with it and accepted. I asked Owner Andrew for a recommendation on a creamy buttery Chardonnay. He rattled off a couple but did not offer to show me the bottles or even ask if I was interested in purchasing. When I was ready to leave, I showed Andrew my online cart. He took a look and was off to “hunt” next door. A few minutes later he returned empty handed and said nothing. I thought maybe he had someone else “hunting” for the wines I wanted to purchase. After about 10 minutes, we were ready to leave and wanted to wrap things up. Andrew then told us that the wines we wanted were last bottles and not accessible in their storage area because they had been moving inventory. Also said he may have drank them because they were last bottles. If that’s the case, take them off your inventory and don’t waste my time. Does Andrew want to sell wine or keep his personal collection? View full site to comment or like
