Review for Treasure Island Resort & Casino Review For Spirit of the Water Google User May 31 '18 at 4:04 My husband and I came to Treasure Island for an adult getaway without the kids. Other reviews attracted us with talk of a swim up bar, on site food, dinner cruise, and spa. The swim up bar and the Lagoon in general was a great time! Coming during the middle of the week, it was quiet and service terrific. At other times of the year or week, I'm sure it gets to be wildly busy at the bar and wild with lots of kids, but the middle of the week was good for the relaxing stay we desired. However, a drawback to the middle of the week was the cancelled cruise. We scheduled 2 days in advance for a Thursday evening but it was cancelled the day before when not enough people signed up. We are doing the Spa in a couple days, so have nothing to report on that yet, but are excited, and we are also satisfied with the food available. Staying in the Wolf tower was a great choice, everything is very new and well kept! The rooms are clean, and we are impressed by the bathrooms & finishing touches such as the lighting. Furthermore, the staff is super friendly and everyone seems to enjoy working here! We walked through the casino and were there for a couple hours, and it is quite large with smoking and non-smoking areas. In the non-smoking area, there are only slot machines available. There are adequate drink and dining options scattered throughout the casino, and the event center is connected for ease of access. We can see how bringing children to Treasure Island would be a good time with other things such as an arcade available besides the pool and bowling, but this made for a great getaway for us!
