I reserved a room for my niece for her birthday weekend. I made sure to send in an authorization form, copy of my credit card and copy of my ID. I confirmed the hotel had everything they needed to make sure of a seamless check-in because I would be in a location with spotty cell service. Well, after a several hour drive, my niece went to check-in just to find out they needed my authorization. They were extremely rude about it. I got a text from her and I explained I had already done that. Again, with my extremely poor connection, I had to search my e-mail to RESEND all the stuff. After 45 minutes of them doing nothing and they get the 2nd e-mail they casually say the first forms were in their scanned folder. They never once apologized for their mistake or for their rude behavior. They later had dinner at their restaurant. They were ignored. Another family sits and gets their drink order before they are even acknowledged. Perhaps it was because they were young and being judged but the reality is they are paying the same EXPENSIVE prices to stay in this place as everyone else and they deserve the same respect. They spoke to Angela, the restaurant supervisor - more rudeness! If you don't mind rude people please stay. If you don't mind being treated like an intrusion when you are paying $300+ a night for a standard room then by all means make a reservation. View full site to comment or like
