Review for Silver Slipper Casino Review For Blue Bayou Bar & Grill Google User Jul 1 '18 at 16:17 My Mother wanted to try the buffet for her birthday after hearing it was ranked #1. For starters, unlike the other casinos along the coast, it's not right off the highway, but a lengthy 20-minute drive down rural roads. The parking structure is small and cramped, but we eventually found a spot. Upon entering, the front door person was pleasant enough, and pointed us towards the Buffet. We arrived to see that the line was all the way across the casino floor, and ended at the bathrooms. I asked a server there how long she anticipated the wait to be, and she said easily an hour. Well, my 78 year-old mother can't stand in a line for that long, so we decided to try the Blue Bayou Bar and Grill. We explained we didn't have reservations, but needed someplace for my Mother to sit down for dinner. Despite the restaurant having hardly any patrons, and many unused tables, the hostess said the next available reservation was three hours later, at 8 PM. After that, we promptly left, and went to Beau Rivage which we should have simply gone to in the first place. It's bigger, nicer, and has much better clientele. View full site to comment or like
