Review for L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles Review For Swim-up Bar Google User Jun 29 '18 at 2:16 Our room was filthy to say the least. Management was not apologetic nor accommodating. Checking in we had to wait 45 mins to even get into our room due to them seeing our reservation, but not that we paid in advance. We showed them our email proof and even went as far as showing them the money being taken out of our account. We finally got to our room and dropped off our bags. We left right out to grab dinner and go to the casino. When we got back to our room for the evening, this is what we found throughout our room (look at pictures)! While in bed a bug was crawling on me (in picture a bugs wing is still on the pillow), the remote had a yellow glob on it and it’s also on their placement card (pictured), and we found a bottle cap under the fitted sheet. At this point we call the front desk to ask for another room. We were told all the rooms were booked. Right! They said they can have someone come and clean the room. Housekeeping came even the housekeeping manager and they found more things wrong with the room. They found broken glass between the mattress and the headboard (pictured), a large stain on the mattress cover (pictured), and dead bugs in the corner of the room (pictured). At this point it’s almost 4am in the morning and I just want my money back. My Husband and I will drive 2 1/2 hours back to Houston, TX. Then a room appeared available. They claim someone had just checked out and it was being cleaned at 4am. Again Right! At this point I did not trust this hotel any more. They made it seem like it was nothing. We received no apologies or anything. After an hour of back and forth we eventually received our money back. On our Anniversary we drove over 2 hours back to Houston, never gotten any sleep. NEVER WILL I GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!! View full site to comment or like
