Anthem of the Seas Meet Up Interview with Royal Caribbean

Craig Shacklett, URComped CEO, interviews Jon Wamba, Royal Caribbean's Director of Casino Alliances about their time on board Anthem of the Seas!

Craig describes the trip as absolutely amazing and is sad that it is coming to an end. He mentions that everybody from the URComped family is having a blast.

Jon answers Craig, "Craig, I've loved the trip too. It's great meeting all these new people that have come through URComped, and come to join us on Anthem of the Seas. Something really fun happens when you get a bunch of people together. Nobody knows each other, and maybe a few people do. By the end of the trip, they've got all each other's phone numbers, they're loving each other, and it's just really a great time. We do a lot of great things to keep the group engaged and get them together. So they can really experience something that they didn't think they were going to have before they came on board. That's why I love these trips."

Going further, Craig mentions that with a lot of URComped groups, several people have never tried Royal Caribbean but have come from different cruise lines. The feedback is overwhelmingly positive. Shacklett points out that Royal Caribbean ships are a lot larger in comparison to other cruise line's ships (Norwegian Jewel), but when your on board, it doesn't feel overwhelming.

Jon adds that the ship doesn't feel crowded, there's enough for everybody to do, and traffic on board is very minimal due to the design and layout of the ship. Plus there's a ton of other things to do including the Flow Rider (surf simulator), I-Fly (skydiving), bumper cars, basketball, soccer, and even dodge ball tournaments!

"Come on! Come join us! We have a great time. I can guarantee it, because we've already set the occasion. This ship is the occasion. You don't want to miss it," Wamba exclaims.

URComped CEO, Craig Shacklett, highly recommends to come on a Meet Up cruise. There is always going to be a special type of group activity. Many URComped members mentioned that the ship was beautiful and the staff has been incredible.

Jon mentions that some people arrive shy and are not by the time they leave. "I'm really proud of the staff on Anthem of the Seas."

If you are on the fence about doing a Meet Up cruise, definitely do it. Even if you can't make a Meet Up cruise, try a Royal Caribbean ship. They have 25 ships to choose from, hundreds of different itineraries going to five different continents, so they've got something for you!
