Thunder Valley is the best casino I've been to in Northern California. It is a huge floorplan, has a beautiful hotel with very nice rooms, a health spa, gift shops, limo, valet, and shuttle services, several restaurants, a buffet, multiple "themed" bars (one has karaoke certain weeknights) indoor and outdoor concert venues (they book pretty big acts too) and ample parking. As far as gambling payouts, it's average or better (more frequent in my opinion than Red Hawk). A huge selection of machines, enough table games, a poker room, high limits area(s). It's more enjoyable, in my opinion, on weeknights. Weekends can sometimes be so crowded that you can't find a seat at a bar or a machine. Usually they have live bands in the center stage and contests and drawings going on Friday and Saturday nights and it can get pretty loud in there. :p
