Very disappointed with our last experience at Brio in Cherokee. We have eaten here several times a year since it opened; however, the last time we were here both of our dishes were charred beyond recognition and tasted exactly like carbon. I went ahead and ate about half of mine but we sent my husband's filet back that was supposed to be cooked medium. When the waitress brought the dish back, the manager actually laughed and rolled his eyes. Then, instead of coming to our table himself, he sent the chef who basically just said sorry and they would redo it. When the manager dropped off the new steak at the table, he again laughed and just walked away - never apologized or acted like he even cared that our meal was horrible. The new steak was grilled correctly; however, they just threw the same vegetables and mashed potatoes on the plate and so they were cold. When we pay $120 for a dinner - we expect a good dinner -- Brio in Cherokee can not deliver - we could have had a better meal at an Olive Garden for half the price. Brio should seriously reconsider who they put in management positions; this man should be sweeping the floors if that is how he treats customers who frequent their restaurant often. As long as this man is in management, we will not be back!
