I had great pampering and service from the Spa at Pala!
My partner and I got a couples massage package (Relax & Getaway), but note, if you choose to do this, plan ahead. We had to book over a month in advance for the 50-minute couples massage on a Saturday. Once we arrived, all of the employees were polite, seemed excited to be there, and were very informative. They did tell us that they were understaffed that day, but it didn't have a negative impact on the service we received.
The amenities in the women's area are awesome! They have plenty of showers, including 1 aromatherapy shower and 1 shower with 12 different heads to surround you. There is also a sauna, hot tub, steam room, outdoor rain showers, and an outdoor quiet area to relax. My assigned locker had a custom welcome message, which was a nice touch.
We chose to do our massage outside, but weren't quite expecting to hear noise from the pool the whole time. While we didn't mind, other people might, so give it a listen before you commit to being outside. The music wasn't quite enough to drown it out. The massage overall was great. My therapist communicated with me and did exactly what I needed.
I would highly recommend this spa and will definitely be back!
