For an aging hotel (anything older than a decade in Vegas is "aging"), the Mirage is hanging in there. The Beatles "Love" show by Cirque just got a needed refresh (fuller song; emotionally dissociated but pretty visuals as ever). Can't find all the usual gambling machines but they have enough. 1 Oak nightclub is not an A-tier club but people still go there. Terry Fator is a good show for tourists from Ohio who don't want to see naked ass. And it's too bad about the dolphins. Poor dolphins. But driving to Mirage and parking is easier than most hotels in Las Vegas. And it's centrally located, more or less, if you want to stumble inside on your walkabout the Strip.
