Flamingo Las Vegas

My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary in Las Vegas & stayed at the Flamingo. Upon entering our hotel room (High Roller on 25th floor), we were immediately unimpressed. Although the view was spectacular, the room was quite the contrary. Our room was totally outdated, dingy, and just overall not very appealing. The bathroom was less than sub-par as well. It took at least 10 minutes for the hot water to warm up before taking a shower. The bathtub had rust everywhere. The sink and vanity also appeared to be very old (and not very clean) as well. There was also no refrigerator to keep our drinks cold like we were anticipating. Possibly the most frustrating part of our experience staying at the Flamingo were the paper thin walls. We could hear guests in both adjoining rooms to ours until the late hours of the morning. We could also hear everyone out in the hallways. Not because people were being outrageously loud, the walls were just very thin. We did not sleep well here at all. I'm not normally one to criticize so harshly, but I can say with 100% confidence that if/when we ever visit Vegas again, we will be looking to spend our money at a nicer/more updated hotel.
