Hidden among a row of warehouses, NJ Beer Company is one of the best kept secrets on this side of the Hudson. Not that it should be a secret (their beer is fantastic) but it just feels secretive. As you enter, there is a fairly small bottling machine where, ostensibly, all of their product is capped, hand-packaged, then shipped. The brewery offers tours in the latter half of the week, when the brewery also functions as a bar. The people here are nice and helpful, the beer is good, what more could you want? They deserve to be bigger, but for now, the hyper-local setting is part of the appeal.
