The Players Club

The Players Club bills itself as the friendliest poker establishment in town. I have to agree with that. Being a first time player, I was surprised at the friendliness of the players at the table. I was playing a qualifier to their $1,500.00 WSOP buy in seat. I must say the owner was quite helpful in running the tournament. My only issue was that there was no structure sheets available for players which to me is my bible when playing a tournament. I am hoping to speak with the owner about this. The only other thing is parking is a bit of a challenge. Overall, I was quite happy with the experience and will be making this my "home" club in the Portland area.
