The only way to describe this resort is run down and let's just say, the pictures are absolutely deceiving. From the moment we arrived we were completely disappointed. The only place to get food after 10pm was the snack bar, which was worst than a NYC street cart, so unsanitary and the food looked like prison food. I chose this resort for my birthday weekend as a gift from my man friend who NEVER takes vacation because he works too much and I was totally embarrassed! The room only comes with 2 pillows, there was lipstick on the sink and the toiletries did not include conditioner. Anyway, the next morning we proceeded to the buffet for breakfast-there were flies everywhere and even a stray cat. They did not even have bacon! The food was so terrible. For lunch we went out to another restaurant where the food was decent and terribly expensive-what's the point of staying at an all inclusive if you end up paying for food throughout your entire trip? Ok, the icing on the cake...no WIFI! You have to pay $25 for 20 hours of wifi if you want it in your room and everyone was complaining that it wasn't even working. There is a wifi area on the 2nd floor called the business center and it took 20 minutes to connect and my apps still wouldn't load. NEVER AGAIN! The sheets were so cheap, the mattress had a flat sheet not even a fitted sheet, there was no comforter just a jail blanket and the maids insisted on coming in the room to "clean". Mind you there is a safe but it doesn't come with a key or code you just shut it LOL what's the point of that. Also, if you want to grab food from the buffet to take with you you must order an hour in advance. The beer was so watery and the open bars used the cheapest liquor ever. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Granted the beach was beautiful, the sand was white so basically everything outside the resort was ok, we made the best of it but I WOULD NEVER stay here again! This place should be shut down. Get's one star because I have to put something but literally 0 stars.
