On Dec 29th 2015, I made a reservation online at EZRENTACAR (affiliated with Advantage at that location) and went to pick up the car at the time specified on the contract. The staff was very friendly. I was asked to show proof of insurance (which I did!! btw you must have comprehensive, collision if you didn't know). I was offered their insurance package which I politely refused. However, I added their roadside assistance package as I was traveling to Tampa (nearly 200 miles away), and didn't want any headache. A hold of nearly 300$ was placed on my card.
THE BAD: The car I was given had a few scratches and dents on it. The seats had some stains. I got the car at night time. one of their representatives went outside with me and we checked everything. He took note of all the scratches/dents and gave me a copy of it. None of the things I mentioned bothered me. Although, I think it would be nice if the car was more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
OVERALL: I did get a pretty good deal given that it was the HOLIDAYS and everyone else was crazy expensive. I returned the car two (2) days later and everything went smooth. I was charged ONLY the initial amount on the contract. Don't let what other people say prevent you from trying these folks. I saw the reviews but I decided to see for myself. My experience has been pretty good. I have already booked a reservation with them this coming April in Vegas. Hope this helps
