Our 2 week cruise from Seattle to Alaska on 5/18 to 6/1 was mostly enjoyable, as had been our experience on several previous HA cruises. The Amsterdam however suffered a plumbing problem about three days at sea, which resulted in our 6th deck cabin floor being flooded with water. We were moved from our room to a deck 3 room for three days while our cabin was dried out. The office and crew were very supportive and understanding, treated us well, gave us a free Pinnacle dinner, a bottle of wine. and $200 credit against our bill. I can not help but wonder, however, if this was adequate compensation for having our trip basically ruined by three days of discomfort and frustration!
