This is the first time that I am doing a review so please bare with me. This place has the potential to become a four star resort. The food and service in the dinning area, restaurants, beach/pool were great. The group that I was with decided to take a tour into the city of Santo Domingo which was amazing. I highly recommend that! Where they lack or fail is the hotel itself. You have to time your showers right to get water pressure and hot water. Yes, I understand that it is a third world country, but if you want to be a four star resort/hotel you need to take those things into account. My room was okay, I believe that some paint and some tweaks, everything would be good. One last thing and it is not really the fault of the resort, but the people on the beach seem to just throw their cigarette butts and straws anywhere. Walking around in some areas was disgusting; however, the Private International Travel Member area was great along with the staff working in that area. Other than that it was a good time.
