Gilded Vegas: The Venetian

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas: Visit Vegas in the lap of luxury

Luxury is baked into Las Vegas, but nothing in this grand city hits the mark quite like the Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

After all, where else could guests float on a gondola down a replica of Venice’s famous Grand Canal before taking in a hand or two of blackjack at a world-class casino? The gondola experience is a must for first-time visitors and a key part of staying at the Venetian in Vegas. The canal at the Venetian © | Courtesy of The Venetian- pictured left.

At the Venetian Resort Las Vegas – which comprises the pair of Venetian and Palazzo towers – everything in sight is of the highest quality possible. Each suite in the hotel includes top-class features such as an all-Italian-marble bath, as well as a sunken living room with sofa and armchairs.

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is consistently named the best hotel in the city because it has so much to offer that it blows the competition out of the water. Speaking of the water, there are few more relaxing places to spend an afternoon in Vegas than the pool deck at the Venetian.

There are four large pools to choose from, including three infinity pools. The pools are also heated, so guests who head to the Venetian Resort Las Vegas during the American winter can still enjoy them without worrying about getting too cold. Hundreds of pool chairs dot the pool deck spread across two acres, so there is room for everyone.

If the Venetian’s stunning pool deck is not quite enough to entice total relaxation, guests can visit one of the best hotel spas in Las Vegas. At the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, visitors can check out the Canyon Ranch spa + fitness facility. Nearly 100 treatment rooms with 150 different treatments are available to try. A Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star spa, guests can be forgiven if they never want to leave Canyon Ranch. The pool at the Venetian © | Courtesy of The Venetian- pictured right.

Naturally, the Venetian Resort Las Vegas excels when it comes to food and drink too. Vegas is known for its extravagant dining options and the Venetian is no different, with a string of top-class restaurants. Perhaps the best is modern steakhouse Majordomo Meat & Fish, where memorable meals are guaranteed.

Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano also comes highly recommended, and anyone who is staying at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas simply must experience a meal at Bouchon – a restaurant run by America’s Best Chef, according to Time Magazine, Thomas Keller.

When it’s time to get the party started, the Venetian has a few different cocktail bars to choose from, while a visit to high-end karaoke club Kamu will not be forgotten. Voted the Best Bar in Las Vegas by Conde Nast Traveler, the Dorsey Cocktail Bar is fantastic as well.

Entertainment options are plentiful at the Venetian too. Great shows feature regularly at the resort, while the Tao nightclub attracts people from across Vegas to dance the night away to the biggest tunes from world-class DJs.

Of course, many people who stay at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas will also want to try their luck at the casino. The Venetian’s casino is absolutely stunning and offers more than 200 table games, while the high-limit salon is where to go for the biggest bets. The casino at the Venetian © | Courtesy of The Venetian- pictured left.

Slots are the order of the day for many Vegas visitors, and there is no doubt that the Venetian and the Palazzo deliver with nearly 2,000 machines across the two casinos. All the latest slot games like Lord of the Rings – Rule Them All and Game of Thrones: Fire & Blood can be played at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

Sports fans can head to the CG Sportsbook – open 24 hours a day – to catch the big game and bet on the action. The CG Sportsbook has great food and beverage options too.

For those who do not fancy checking out the casino or CG Sportsbook, a visit to Madame Tussauds Las Vegas – part of the Venetian resort – is worth adding to anyone’s itinerary. This wax museum features celebrities such as Bradley Cooper and is a blast to visit.

Make time for the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian too. Arguably Vegas’ top premier shopping location, a wide range of luxury stores are available to browse during a stay here.

There is so much to do at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas that it is hard to pack everything in during a single visit. Guests will want to make sure that they do not miss the amazing virtual reality experience The Void, as well as the winter wonderland with the minus5º Ice Experience. Staying at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas is simply unforgettable. Las Vegas has been my sanity throughout this Wuhan Pandemic. Have been there 3 times last year, all wins. Love Ellis Island and the strip. Played at the V, but haven't stayed there. Greetings from Central Florida, home of the free.
