This Hilton hotel is very nicely located in the city of Prague close Old Town and other nice parts of the city. Unfortunately, I was placed in a room that the following morning was right next to very load construction work. Being jet-lagged and wanting to sleep in while on vacation was not happening as the construction was that loud that the entire room was shaking. I asked the front desk to stop the construction noise but they told me that was not possible. Also, no one was able to explain why I was placed in this room despite the hotel knowing that construction of that magnitude would be happening the following morning. That same day, the manager at this Hilton hotel did move to an equivalent room on a different floor to get away from the noise. Other than a $5 bottle of wine and an apology there was no other attempt to make amends for the all the trouble. I am a Hilton honors member and travel a decent amount and have never like this happen to me before. I am very disappointed in this Hilton's management for extremely poor service.
