From the start everyone was friendly and helpful. The check in was quick and easy. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The renovations have really helped this place look more modern and not run down.
Mel's Diner's atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Especially with all the 50's décor.
The only downside was that neither pool was out of operation. Which is understandable since maintenance has to be done sometime. Seemed silly to do maintenance on both at the same time though.
Also the motion theater ride is shut down for good. Hopefully they bring that back. Even though it's a kids ride it's still something fun to do when your out of gambling money.
I would definitly come back.
