My husband and I have driven down to Cincinnati ( 2 hour drive from our house) for the past several years on our summer vacation. We would get a hotel room and stay several days. The Horseshoe was a lovely, clean, friendly place. Yesterday we drove down to Jack Casino to see what had changed. We will not be staying in Cincinnati this year on our summer vacation. There were a lot of changes and none of them were good. First, we had received slot cards in the mail and discovered when we got there that there were no free play comps on these cards. First time ever we went to a casino as a first time gambler and did not receive at leaset $5 dollars in complementary play. Cheap!!! The music was so loud we could not even carry on a conversation while sitting next to each other at the slot machines. Then we decided to check out the Buffet. Big mistake. The food was terrible and very little of it. We do not recommend that anyone drive even 5 miles to get to this casino.
