Are Vaccines Required on Cruises 2021?

Celebrity Cruises Requirements: Adult guests and crew members must have proof of full vaccination administered two weeks prior to embark. Children under the age of 18 must have a negative PCR test result within 120 hours of embarkation. Celebrity will administer an antigen test to all guests 2 and older at the terminal and again at debarkation for county re-entry.

Do you need a negative covid test to cruise if you have been vaccinated?

YES. All guests must follow the country’s travel requirements which may include presenting a negative PCR test result within 72- 120 hours of arrival. Prior to booking, please consult all applicable U.S. Centers for Disease Control travel advisories, warnings, or recommendations relating to cruise travel, at cdc.gov/travel/notices. 

Currently, the U.S. requires proof of a negative COVID-19 test result for those arriving into the U.S. by international air.  

Royal Caribbean will administer an antigen test onboard the ship, and cover the related cost, should it be required for re-entry into the United States. The test will be administered just before the end of the cruise, and guests will be provided a copy of their test results.

Will masks be required on Cruises 2021?

The policies are still being determined. We're assuming these requirements will be announced in May, closer to the start date. 

Will my cruise longer than 7 nights be canceled?

There is no set answer on this yet. Our guess is that it won't be canceled but be modified.

Will Alaska Cruises be canceled in 2021?

The cruise lines are working with the US Government to try and get a temporary lift to the Jones Act OR Option #2 is to get Canada to agree to a “technical stop” in one of their ports but passengers will not get off of the ship. At this time these sailings are still closed to new reservations but will reopen if an agreement is reached. 

Will Cruisers be allowed to disembark and explore the ports 2021? 

As of now, the policy is that you would have to be part of an excursion to disembark at the ports.
