The home of rugby in South Africa. The last remaining fortress for the Springboks and the site of many famous victories including the 1995 World Cup.
Don't let anyone put you off about the safety of the area it's in. Sure, you need to be vigilant and careful in this part of the city, but you can still have a great time here.
They've upgraded the stadium significantly since 2010: there are great bar areas and food stalls, plus the Weber braai area is good for getting a steak. You can really have a fun day here.
Plus the rugby: there is no better atmosphere in a stadium than when Ellis Park is full, and no better rugby on display than when the Lions are on fire!
