We were here in September which is the island's "down time" but there were still plenty of people here and the weather was still amazing in the 90's! The hotel was clean and very well designed. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and my only complaint was not getting our complimentary gift for three days after arriving. I emailed with a front desk employee and she assured me we would have a bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon. I had to make three different calls and visits to the front desk to finally get it. So if you are going for your honeymoon I recommend being very clear with the front desk. One other thing: we booked half our stay with points and the other half with credit card. After our "points"stay was up they deactivated our keys and we had to go back to the front desk to get new ones. They could definitely have something in their computers stating what is going on so no one gets locked out of their rooms randomly.
I would like to say that we got a couples massage before leaving with an aloe treatment and it was great. The ladies at the Spa are so accommodating and sweet (I wish I remembered their names, one was an Aruba native the other was a Peru native!) They were great and made the spa experiences wonderful!
