Refused to pay for $6,000 of damage their valet parking did to my car. Told me the video proved it arrived already damaged. Yet, oddly enough, they refused to show me the video, unless I sued them.
I knew I had not done this damage.
They did offer to use a cell phone camera to snap a pic of the video to show me but then was quick to explain that, being a picture of a picture, I would not be able to see any of the damage.
Trust me, huge white scratches running the entire length of the car. Including all four rims and doors dented with more white scratching, on an all black car? I am quite certain it would have been easy to see.
Also, I was a copier technician for almost 20 years and it is a copy of a copy when an image loses detail. This does not happen when you take a picture picture using the camera.
If you are going to lie, at least respect the person enough to put some effort into creating the lie!
Beyond this one experience though, (good thing I had a really low insurance deductible) the Blue Chip, Spa and all the rest really makes it a fantastic place to enjoy yourself.
(Just park your car yourself!)
