The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. The problem was that while we had reserved our room four months ago they had cancelled the reservation without even an email. Once we finally got into a room, the whole city was sold out and we needed anything, it had one less bed then we needed since it was the only thing left. The room itself had bad a overtly springy bed and was bare bones. We asked for more blankets and pillows, since my fiancee and I had to sleep on the ground as our friends took the bed, and they were completely out and don't offer roll away cots. The music at the pool played all night and our room was right next to the speaker. I gave it two stars since the service people were polite and it's a cheaper hotel so we shouldn't assume lavish rooms. Still the experience was uncomfortable and could have been completely avoided if they had actually reached out to us before cancelling the reservation without notice.
