I went on my first cruise with Carnival in the western Caribbean. It was incredible. The staff are exceptionally friendly (if a bit overworked, ok maybe very overworked...) The excursions were amazing. I went snorkeling, on a visit to some Mayan ruins, and on a submarine tour of some coral reefs. It all went very smoothly. The food was beyond incredible. The only bad part of the entire thing was the debarkation process, but that was mostly a customs problem and not entirely in the control of Carnival. I would definitely recommend a Carnival cruise to anyone and plan on going again.
