I stayed here in November of 2015 and I found it to be a nice change of pace from the strip. It is a mere block away from Fremont St. and all the fun down there.
Check in was pleasant and easy, and the room was very nice. Clean, and spacious. The only strange thing was that the tub did not come with a shower curtain, and instead had a pane of glass that ran halfways along the edge of the tub. Never seen that before, but it did work fine.
The only drawback I found was the self parking, which is across the street from the hotel and in a public lot. Although nothing happened to my vehicle, the elevator for the parking lot looked like something out of Mad Max. It also made for a long walk from your room to your car, as the main casino is in one building and the other rooms are located in another building which is accessed by a walkway above the street.
Overall though, a nice place and a place I would stay again.
