When the Rivers Casino & Resort opens in February 2017 for business in Schenectady, it will become a new tourist attraction, and even a major tourist attraction for downtown Schenectady, and for the city of Schenectady itself just like Proctor's Theatre, and miSci, and just like Baseball Hall of Fame as for Cooperstown; the Enchanted Forest Water Safari water theme park as for Old Forge, NY; the Great Escape, and cruises as for Lake George; horse racing as for Saratoga; Howe or Secret caverns, or the Old Stone Fort for Schoharie; Fort Ticonderoga as for Ticonderoga; and Empire State Plaza (NYS Museum) as for Albany. This new casino will also become a new major tourist attraction for the city of Schenectady once it opens in early 2017.
This new Rivers Casino in Schenectady will be like any other casinos that I have been to years ago in the past, such as Turning Stone, Saratoga, or at Foxwoods, or Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Rivers Casino in Schenectady will be very similar to those casinos that I have mentioned above. I'm looking forward to see it open in Schenectady next year in 2017, and to celebrate the opening of the new Rivers Casino in Schenectady in February 2017, I bought myself a tabletop version of the craps layout (replica version seen in a casino), set of dice, set of poker chips (like those used in a casino), a deck of cards, and the replica version of a slot machine.
