We got two rooms at Harrah's - one for the parents and other for children. The first night was great, but when the parents upgraded to another room the nightmare started. The general manager himself switched the rooms and checked out the rooms that occupied the childern instead of the correct room, as a result - at 1 am in the morning - they were locked out of their room. Even more so, another party was waiting to gain access to that same room. This involved security and a VERY sleepless night.
We had to explain this to the front desk and the very same general manager more than 3 times with much resistance to their error - asking us multiple if we followed their check out to upgrade instructions to which of course we had.
Once resolved it didn't stop there - our room keys did not work. We had traveled room to desk up and down THREE times. The security guy had to let us in with no working keys. The lock smith said the front desk has locked the room door and requires security to fix it.
This whole event happened at 1 o'clock in the morning and was not fixed until 8 AM when we had to notify the desk staff AGAIN of the issue.
Beware of the lack of empathy from the desk staff and empty apologies even from the general manager (Tom) if you have an issue in the early AM.
I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.
