When the Ascuaga's sold their interest in this property, it was the end of an era. Two conglomerates have owned it since then, and hardly any updates have occurred since the sale. The staff, on the whole, does not seem to be very enthusiastic to be working here. However, I will say that they are very accommodating. When we complained about our room's tub having mold in it, they immediately upgraded us to a nicer room with a walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub. The rates are reasonable, and the restaurants are very good (especially the Oyster Bar). Overall, I would recommend it even though I can only give it 3 stars due to the decor and ambience being so outdated.
