The El Dorado is our hotel of choice whenever we come to Reno. It's clean, comfortable, and generally well managed. The selection of restaurants is the best of the trio of connected hotels, including an Asian restaurant that has pretty decent pho. The location makes it very convenient, and there are some wonderful views from the rooms if you know how to choose wisely. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and we've never had any major issues with any of our stays (and there have been probably 10+ at this point). Millie's restaurant used to be our go-to place for a quick bite, however this last time, the food was abysmal. The clam chowder was gluey and flavorless, and my fish and chips were dry and overcooked. The fries, which should've been pretty easy to get right, we're hot but soggy and dry.
