The pool, room, and ambiance were great but their price gouging met us at every turn. The worst was the 18% resort fee applied to everything on TOP of the 12% state and local taxes. Of course the resort fee is in your reservation information just like the third party agreements are buried in your apple update user agreements. But the difference is they know they will be pillaging your bank accounts upon check in and I found that pretty disgusting. We ate off site half the time, bought our own rum, drinks and snacks. But our bill AFTER our third party accommodation costs was still $1,400 for two of us. Maybe that's fine for others but that's highway robbery even for someone expecting to pay resort prices for five nights.
