I can usually find fault with anything but the only thing I did not like about this place was the bright light at night from the lighthouse they have on property. It blinded you and took away from the ambiance. Everything else was perfect! Every meal was perfect, some very good cooks/chefs at this location. My room was great, the people were all great and the pool was great as well. One really big plus was the Scarlet Macaws landing in the trees around the pool and eating the almonds. I paid $180 for a guide through Carara National Park to see the Scarlet Macaws before coming to the hotel and never saw one. I get to the hotel and there are four in a tree in front of my room! After spending some days out hiking through jungles in high humidity and heat the hotel was great to come back to. I will return!
